About Us

Gaia Forestry was created in 2021 by a former wildland firefighter. After sustaining an injury, Dana was no longer able to carry the pack necessary to be effective on a wildland fire hand-crew. Wanting to still be involved in the wildland fire community and share experiences and knowledge gained through years of fire education, Gaia Forestry came to be.
